No, it really isn’t. My grandmother used to call me Agnes.  I’m not sure where the name came from or why I had been gifted with it, but oddly, I have always been proud to wear it. Oh, and I wasn’t alone… My sister’s nickname was Mehitabel.

Agnes and Mehitabel.

I think its clear to say I was the one who came out on top in this strange and mysteriously-inherited-nickname scenario. Throughout my entire life this has been my only true nickname. Actually, I’m going to take that back. My best friend once blessed me with a very creative moniker (*that’s my thesaurus replacement word for the day)… I was dubbed the Wombat.

Offended? I think so.

Therefore, Agnes takes the cake in my short book of witty nicknames.  I like to think of her as my ridiculous alter ego - carrying me from childhood laughs to adulthood drinking games (sorry Grandma)- and the perfect title to my random blog.

Welcome, to my blog.  Through my super educational posts, I hope to inspire you to live a healthy lifestyle and inform you on today’s trendiest fashions …(And by that of course I mean, you might read about my love of potato chips and the fact that my closet is entirely stocked with all things grey and comfortable.  Which reminds me- I have recently obtained a new grey sweatshirt that I like more than most people I have dated. Is this a problem? …We’ll get back to that.)
